Here's a little job for a recent client where they had a fairly sentimental planter trough that was rusting away.
They have had this cleaned up with a wire brush and painted with hammerite but realistically all this was doing was trapping the rust and letting it continue underneath.
They fortunately contacted us before the whole thing perished and couldn't be saved.
We had this sand blasted back to bare metal removing all of the rust totally.
We then had an amazing fabricator fix the areas that had rotten through.
We then had it powder primed and top coated.
Powder coating will far exceed even the best wet paints on the market.
We of course then carefully reinstalled this back onto the wall under the window where it can now safely hold the pots and be planted up again come summer!
