🚨 Wood Burning Stoves Are NOT Being Banned: Here’s the Real Story 🚨

There’s been a lot of noise online recently claiming that wood burning stoves are about to be outlawed. The facts don’t support that claim.

✅ The UK government has stated that under the Future Homes Standard, wood burning stoves will still be allowed as a secondary heating option in new homes.

✅ Independent guidance from Which? confirms there are no plans to ban wood burners in 2025.

✅ The recent rules focus on cleaner air requiring Ecodesign stoves and restricting certain fuels in smoke control areas - but none of this amounts to a ban.

In reality: the dramatic headlines are misleading. The shift is toward safer, cleaner wood burning, not removing stoves from homes.
