☀️ Another Smart Auto Spa roof covered in solar panels! 💚

This time it’s Wincanton’s turn. We’ve just fitted solar panels across the roof so we can generate more of our own electricity right here on site.

We’re always looking for ways to make our car washes more sustainable, and putting the roof space we already have to work makes sense.

Here’s to cleaner cars and a greener Wincanton! 🚗🫧☀️

A quick note from Smart Auto Spa Shepton Mallet 🚗🫧

First, thank you to everyone who uses the site. It’s been great to see how busy it is, and we really appreciate your support.

We have, though, had complaints about noise, particularly engines being revved, and about cars parking on our neighbours property. The police have contacted us after issuing a Section 59 warning to a driver, and we understand they’re patrolling the area.

Please help us be good neighbours: keep the noise down, park within our site, wash your car and head off when you’re finished. Everyone’s welcome to come and clean their car, but the site isn’t a place for car meets or hanging around afterwards.

We’re close to homes as well as other businesses, so a bit of consideration makes a real difference. Our site rules are in the picture below. Thanks for helping us keep the wash enjoyable for everyone 😊

Is this yours. Left at smart auto spa. It’s by the dog wash now if you want to collect it. 👏

💧 HOSEPIPE BAN UPDATE 💧

With new hosepipe restrictions coming into force across the Wessex Water region, we’d like to reassure customers that all Smart Auto Spa locations will remain OPEN AS USUAL. 🚗✨

As a fully compliant commercial car wash operator, our sites are permitted to continue operating during the restrictions. Therefore, our Wincanton, Blandford Forum and Gillingham locations will not be affected.

Our Shepton Mallet site is supplied by Bristol Water, where there is currently no hosepipe ban in place, and it will also remain open as usual.

So, while customers in affected areas may not be able to wash their cars using a hosepipe at home, you can still visit Smart Auto Spa and keep your vehicle looking its best!

Thank you for your continued support. 💙
