Lets talk ceramics and coatings.

Dealerships, market leaders, apply more than all of us detailers combined, set the market price points.
Applied typically, in a royalty per application basis, done in hours with irrelevant prep.

As a client, you will normally pay above and beyond. Get a rushed service as a return, with sub standard results leading to premature failure or issues far greater, shown here on this Satin painted Mercedes GLA 43 AMG, absolutely covered in high spots.

This...is a £1000 protection package.

And its everywhere, under the spoiler, around edges, over the bonnet, nothing even applied to the roof. 💩

You also run exactly the same risk doing it on a drive way / outdoors or with minimal control over your environments.
Now, a mobile detailer will take far better care and yes, coatings have evolved to allow quicker dry curing times but, the risk is still greatly increased when it comes to the aged ole saying 'missed a bit".
But you're limited to a similar, but slightly longer time gate. You have to be done in a day and certain jobs, levels of correction and finish require...time, alot of it.

The best results, from coatings to polishing will be done in controlled environments, with correct tooling and lighting in a non time gated or rushed situation.

Please, pick wisely, do your research and due diligence.

Its your money afterall, stop pi***ng it up a wall. 🧱

Porsche back in for an emergency bath and scratch removal.

After travelling down the motorway, a vehicle infront decided to eject a bumper. Unfortunately, the Porsche took the brunt, going over the bumper and ejecting the panel back out the rear end side.

Scuff marks to the front bumper, rear drivers door and rear bumper. 99% resolved, there is a small nick, down to base material on the front bumper lower edge (near the splitter line).

Saving hundreds on body shop repaint costs. 🤝
