“How often should i use a clay bar” - is a question i often get asked.
A clay bar isn’t something you need to use every wash, it’s a tool for removing embedded contaminants that a wash alone will not.
Over time your paint picks up things that regular washing can’t remove, such as road tar, tree sap, industrial fallout & stubborn dirt.
Sometimes these can be removed with the correct chemicals like a fallout remover or tar and glue remover. However depending on how long the contamination has been on the paint the paint may need to be clay barred to fully remove all the contaminants.
It’s always good practice to try to remove as many contaminants as possible with the relevant chemicals before going in with the clay.
Remember clay can damage the paint if used unnecessarily or incorrectly.
👉🏼Make sure to use clean clay and fold frequently

👉🏼Don’t apply too much pressure, let the clay do the work
