Meet Deanne, one of 40 volunteers at Walk For A Cure Cardiff last year. She felt it was important to give something back to her community and help raise awareness of the heartbreaking effect dementia can have. Deanne played an integral role out on the route encouraging and guiding participants.
Deanne shares " I see myself volunteering for more events. I’d encourage everyone to take a few hours out of your day and take part in events either as a volunteer or a participant.”
