An unpopular opinion from a cleaner… 🤎

I know price matters… of course it does!

But when you’re choosing someone to clean your home, I don’t think the cheapest quote should always be the deciding factor.

You’re trusting someone with your home, your belongings and the standard of work they carry out when you’re not there.

Not every cleaning service works in the same way, and that’s absolutely fine. But for me, it’s about taking pride in my work, paying attention to the details and treating every home with care.

It’s not about being the cheapest. It’s about being the right fit for the home and the person choosing us.

I’m curious though… what matters most to you when choosing someone to come into your home? Price? Trust? Recommendations?

😡 HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS WOMAN IN THEIR HOUSE?! 😡

Booked her to clean my house and honestly, I’m fuming.

She turned up with all her stuff, seemed lovely, so I left her to it.

When she’d finished, I walked into the bathroom…

DIDN’T EVEN RECOGNISE IT.

Turns out my taps are chrome. Thought they were white.

The shower screen? Apparently you’re meant to be able to see through it.

And she’s cleaned a bit behind the toilet I’ve been pretending doesn’t exist for months.

But that’s not even the worst part.

I’ve spent ages telling visitors those marks “don’t come off.”

TURNS OUT THEY DO. 😭

Now I don’t want anyone cooking, showering or touching anything. I’ve become a security guard in my own home.

Anyway… I’m Rachel and yes, that’s me in the photo 🤣
