Big thanks to Tobias at The Barbers Lodge for helping with our son's hair.
He'd had an unfortunate two visits to another local barbers who made a right hack job of it. (2nd visit was the boss 'fixing' it after another worker's awful job).
Viktor is autistc and really struggles having his hair cut. It's a really big deal to him going and sitting in a barbers shop. New people, noises even smells of sprays etc can stress him out massively.
Tobias did a really great job on what little hair he had to work with. And communicating with V in ways that helped V too. We've got some hair growing to do to get it looking better but for now it's a huge improvement 💙
Thank you Tobias & all at The Barbers Lodge for being a safe and inclusive place for people like V 💜
Also such a kind gesture not allowing us to pay. We shall pay that kindness forward 💜

Trust local, independent, trained, experienced

Attending a regular customer this afternoon, she mentioned in the past had enquired with a multinational franchise. Come top of Google she said!! 😮wow😮

Well they had been so hard sell and pushy and TWICE the price of us. And also offering services that weren't even necessary.

She knows we do a great job at reasonable prices.

GOOD VIBES POST 👏👏

Back in January we were offered opportunity to quote a David Lloyd site local to us.🏋‍♂️🏊‍♂️

Part of what was agreed was some free memberships to the facilities. 😮😮

At this time we took the opportunity to say thankyou to some good friends of ours, both of which are paramedics.

Today we attended a customer who is very house proud, black foot marks had appeared after a family member visit was the original issue.

They had tried 2 other cowboys come and caused irreparable damage to her wool carpet!! 😡😡

1st a local company that advertise in local magazines claiming to be carpet cleaners charged her £10 to spray something and leave. Told the customer call them again when it's dry!!?? 😳😳

2nd another local company have scrubbed so hard it has burst the pile, burnt the fibres and carpet is now damaged. They charged £150 to do this and then claimed its permanent but pay up!😮😮

Then Excel Carpet Care attended and after thorough conversation and thoughts on advanced stain removal methods that we have specialist training in. It was agreed that replacement was only viable option.👏👏

Lessons to take
Be wary of low prices!

Ask for training certification!

Ask for previous work!

Ask how long have they been trading!

Are they insured! (Carpet cleaning requires specialist insurance that i would guarantee neither company mentioned has)

FINE FABRIC CLEANING

Alot of companies wouldn't touch an 80% viscose fabric. Fine fabrics require specialist knowledge on how to clean. Thankfully years of experience and professional training allow us to tackle with ease.

ADAVNCED STAIN REMOVAL

Sometimes standard cleaning/stain removal isn't enough.

This customer originally spilt coffee, and for some reason thought TOILET CLEANER would work!!??
Thankfully being a synthetic carpet we were able to reverse the damage with our advanced training and knowledge.

This is why diy attempts DONT work. And why we are the best around.
