Mid-sand on an engineered wood floor
This is the stage where the real transformation starts.
The belt sander is carefully removing the worn factory coating, built-up dirt and years of foot traffic — revealing clean, healthy timber underneath.
With engineered floors, this part matters.
They need the right pressure, correct grit sequence and controlled sanding to protect the wear layer while still achieving a perfectly flat, even surface.
No shortcuts. No rushing.
Just careful prep so the final finish goes down properly and lasts.
If your engineered floor looks tired or patchy, it doesn’t always need replacing — it often just needs restoring properly.
Restored, not replaced.
