We are having a smart meter installed and the electrics will need to be turned off for around 45 minutes, therefore all services will be suspended during that time. We will update with a time slot closer to the day.

Another long but fun day today!

A lot of holiday makers in including a couple with their adorable 4 year old triplet granddaughters 🥺 you best believe Nicole and I kept them entertained with lollies, drawing contests and a k-pop demon hunter dance party whilst the grown ups got their laundry done 😄

Then in came one of our regulars with his dog Piper. I was ‘forced’ to take a break to provide some much requested attention. We will be dog sitting Piper for a week soon so you may see her in the shop.

We love that we get to provide these little extras for our customers. It makes our job more fun. We don’t see £ signs, we see friends, family and a lovely community that we want to help.

We are open today until 5:30pm. If you are in doing your laundry, please keep hydrated.

For those that question why “we make staff work in this heat on a bank holiday” it is not our choice, it is the staffs 😂 we always give the option of closing but they choose to use their holiday days when they want to use them and not when we or bank holidays force them to.

The only time we ever enforce this is when the temperature gets dangerously high. Our staff are our ‘family’ and we treat them as such ☺️

We love a good ‘National’ or ‘World’ Day. The 25th May this year is ‘Towel Day’ 😆

We get through our fair share of towel washing and drying on a daily basis whether it’s from hairdressers, holiday lets, music venues or therapy/ salon settings.

(Without googling 😄) does anyone know the reason Towel Day is celebrated and what fans tend to do on this day to pay their respects?

First time visiting Whey 2 Go this morning. What a fantastic business to have in our town!

I’m awful at making sure I have breakfast but I decided to at least make an attempt today 😂What’s the point of being self employed if you can’t be late to work in order to support a small business.

Check out their page for menu items, lots to choose from. I went with ‘Invigorate’ Vanilla Whey, Double Espresso, Milk & Ice👌🏼

We had a hectic but great day yesterday full of regular customers, new faces, new enquiries, baskets and baskets or ironing. The season is just around the corner and we can feel it 😄

Absolutely love our little team and how we show up and support each other to get through work, and life 😂

Speaking of support, thank you to Stacy at The Whale Way Ltd for recommending us yesterday to a lovely lady who needed a weighted blanket washing. Unfortunately we weren’t able to help her on this occasion but we are so grateful that we are supported by other businesses within our industry. It never feels like competition. It’s all about serving our community and getting them the best help and service they need. We did pass her on to another local service.

If anyone needs ironing services in the Ryedale area, please give Stacy a call or a follow just for being a genuinely lovely lady 🥰
