Taking Top Mops to new heights! 🏗️⬆️

James, Stacey and Kris have been getting to grips with some slightly bigger equipment than we normally use!

The team recently completed specialist lifting equipment training with Wight Materials Handling Limited , meaning we can now offer high level cleaning and maintenance completely in house.

From warehouse roof spaces and high level internal cleaning to those awkward exterior areas that are difficult to reach, we’ve now got trained members of our own team ready to tackle them.

It’s another service we can offer our customers directly, helping us take care of even more of their cleaning and maintenance requirements without needing to bring in outside contractors.

A big well done to James, Stacey and Kris, although judging by the photos, we’re not sure they minded this particular day of training! 😂👏

🤖 Something new is rolling into Top Mops!

Over the next few weeks we’ll be trialling robotic vacuum cleaners, thanks to the team at Killis.

Before anyone asks… they’re not replacing our amazing cleaning teams! ❤️

These machines are simply another tool to help our operatives. While the robot looks after routine vacuuming, our team can spend more time on the detailed cleaning that really makes the difference.

Our operatives are still needed to:
🧹 Prepare the areas
🔋 Charge the robots
🗑 Empty and maintain them
✨ Clean all the places a robot simply can’t reach

We’re excited to see how this technology performs across a variety of customer sites and whether it can help us deliver even greater efficiency while maintaining the high standards we’re known for.

We had a brilliant day at the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Expo yesterday! 💙🐬

Our Top Mops stand was set up with cleaning products, equipment, information and a few friendly faces ready to chat all things cleaning and facilities.

A huge thank you to everyone who came over to say hello, ask questions or find out more about what we do. It was lovely to meet so many local businesses and be part of such a busy Island event.

Well done to Sam and Paula for flying the Top Mops flag so well!

Please welcome Lenny to the Top Mops family! 🫏💙

We’ve recently adopted the very lovely Lenny at the Isle Of Wight Donkey Sanctuary.

Earlier this month, Sam and Paula went along to meet him, give him a good groom and learn all about him from two wonderful members of the sanctuary team, both called Emily!

Lenny was an absolute gentleman, although we suspect he may already know how handsome he is. 😍

We’re so pleased that our adoption will help support his care, as well as the brilliant work the sanctuary carries out for all the donkeys who live there.

A huge thank you to Emily, Emily and everyone at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary for making the visit so special.

That’s our 19th Isle of Wight Festival completed! 🎪🎶

What an incredible few weeks it has been and we’re not finished just yet!

Our teams have been working on site since the beginning of June, supporting the festival build before welcoming thousands of festivalgoers through the gates.

Across the weekend, our brilliant staff covered:

✨ VIP and hospitality
⛺ Glamping
🚿 Public showers
🚻 General public toilet areas
🛠️ Build and break operations

The festival went incredibly well, and we could not be prouder of every single person who worked with us.

From those cleaning through the busiest moments of the weekend to the supervisors, mobile teams, managers and everyone working behind the scenes, you were absolutely incredible.

The stages may be coming down and the crowds may have gone home, but our work continues for another few weeks as we help return the site to normal.

A huge thank you to Team Top Mops for your hard work, energy and commitment. Nineteen festivals down and what a team to have delivered this one! 💙🐬

What a weekend for the Top Mops Event Services team 👏

Our crews were out supporting another busy live event site, helping keep key areas clean, safe and presentable throughout the weekend.

From roaming teams to site support and clear down, event work takes energy, organisation and a team that can adapt quickly and our team did exactly that.

A big well done to everyone involved. Long days, changing weather and a lot of ground covered, but the team did us proud.

💷 Between £400 and £540 for the weekend depending on hours worked

This year’s festival theme is Galactic Glamour and Space Oddities, so we’re looking for our very own crew of festival stars to help keep the site clean, tidy and ready for thousands of festival goers across the weekend. 🛸⭐

Areas may include:

🎪 VIP
🎤 Stages
✨ Hospitality
⛺ Camping
🚿 Toilets & showers
🌙 Day and night shifts

This is a busy, fast paced working environment, but it’s also a brilliant way to be part of the festival atmosphere, meet new people and earn money across the weekend.
