Whilst our Domestic teams enjoy their Summer break the Commercial Teams are still busy with our Commercial clients, March Out/Move In Cleans and Builders cleans it’s always a very busy time of the year juggling staff holidays, the busy season of Military moves but we still always manage to keep going!
Huge thanks to the team especially last week when I took a lovely week off.

🌞🥵 Move-In Clean Completed! 🥵🌞

An early start was definitely needed today! Our team kicked off this 9-bedroom, 5-bathroom property spread across 3 floors at 5:30am to beat the heat and make sure we weren’t finishing too late in the day.

Despite the extreme temperatures, the team powered through with plenty of laughs, positive energy, and the teamwork that makes us proud every day.

The cooling towels were worth their weight in gold today! 🧊😅

We’re delighted to say this beautiful property is now sparkling clean and ready for its new occupants. 🏡

A huge well done to the team for their hard work, dedication, and keeping spirits high even in challenging conditions. That’s what great teamwork is all about! 🙌

What does a typical week look like for us at SDA?

Our business is split between domestic and commercial cleaning, with both sides of the team working hard to deliver results every day.

🏡 Domestic Cleaning

Our domestic teams cover over 200 hours each week, visiting clients’ homes on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis. From regular housekeeping to helping busy households stay on top of their cleaning, our team takes pride in providing a reliable, professional service that our clients can trust.

🏢 Commercial Cleaning

Our commercial cleaning teams carry out regular cleans for a wide range of businesses and organisations, including:

* Offices
* Warehouses
* Village halls
* Churches
* Gyms
* Holiday lets

🧹 Specialist Cleaning Services

A large part of our commercial operation focuses on supporting Antac Support Services with MOD move-in cleans, regularly completing up to 15 full property cleans a week. We also carry out March Out Cleans, end-of-tenancy cleans for local letting agents, and specialist cleaning projects.

Thanks to our industry connections and experience, we have also built a strong reputation working on military bases, providing builders’ cleans for newly constructed and refurbished facilities.

The team’s hard work is the reason SDA continues to grow and maintain the high standards our clients deserve.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Builders Cleaning Operative to join our team on a large-scale project. This is an exciting opportunity delivering high-quality builders cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out builders cleans to a high standard across accommodation blocks.
Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, corridors, stairwells, and communal areas.
Removing construction dust, debris, and ensuring areas are ready for handover.
Following site-specific health and safety procedures at all times.
Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
Reporting any issues, defects, or safety concerns to site management.

Requirements:
Previous builders cleaning experience is preferred.
Alternatively, experience working in a construction site cleaning role will be considered.
Good understanding of construction site environments and safe working practices.
Knowledge of COSHH regulations and health and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Willingness to undergo and successfully complete a security clearance process.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
What We Offer
£14.00 per hour.
8am-4pm
6-month contract starting in July.
Opportunity to work on other projects within our teams.
Potential contract extension for the right candidate.
