I started Assistly because, when I was working as a home support worker in Germany, I saw how many people were struggling with everyday tasks. It was not because they didn’t care, but because life, health, or energy made things harder.

I wanted to offer practical, understanding and judgement-free support that helps people feel more in control of their home and routine. That’s what Assistly is about.

My neurodivergence is something I used to try to hide. I now know that it makes people more confident that I won't judge. It forced me to develop skills that I am now using to support other people who struggle with the same, and others.

One of the biggest compliments I have gotten since starting my business:🩷🫂

Recently, my client said:
Usually, she gets super overwhelmed and exhausted during the Christmas period due to her health condition and dreads December coming around.😖

But, for the first time in years, she is looking forward to it.

Why?

Because I am there to help. Because she knows the weight is no longer just on her shoulders. Because she can focus on enjoying the holiday despite her health condition, because there’s someone to pick up what she can’t do. 🫂

A good relationship with my clients is at the core of what I do, because being a household help is a lot more personal than one might think. To get feedback like this is incredibly valuable and reaffirms why I started this business.
