St Ives Laundrette

Unfortunately it is with deep regret, that one of our beautiful Launderette cats, Molly, passed away on Monday. I would like to thank everyone that was a friend to her and always showed her attention when coming in. A very friendly cat who was very affectionate and kind around strangers, and had a very peaceful and fantastic life.

Rest in peace Molly!

The Laundrette Cats - Katherine Rennie

Tinks and her daughter Molly sit at the entrance to the Laundrette,
Close enough to the door to
Enjoy the unseasonal sunshine
and watch the world go by;
And of course to keep an eye out
for the occasional gift from passers by .
They revel in the warm laundered blankets
Provided each day by Stephen;
An excuse to lie curled up in contentment.
But there is more than relaxation;
In reality they are minding the shop
Ensuring that the machines are in
Good working order and that the
Customers use them properly.
So, like so many St Ives cats,
They more than earn their keep.
