Solutions Services Ltd is looking for a confident, organised and reliable Cleaning Operations Manager to help oversee the day-to-day delivery of our commercial cleaning contracts.

The role will involve:
Visiting client sites and carrying out quality inspections.
Supporting and supervising cleaning staff and team leaders.
Resolving service issues.
Supporting staff training, new contract starts and one-off cleans.
Identifying and following up on cleaning standards or performance issues.

We believe in realistic workloads, trust and giving our supervisors the freedom to manage their own time.
Around 70% of your contracted hours will be planned in advance, leaving the remaining time for administration and unexpected issues. We want our supervisors to have the time and support to do their job properly.

We are looking for someone who is:
Well organised and able to manage their own workload
Confident managing and supporting staff
Comfortable dealing directly with clients
Calm and practical when problems arise
Able to make decisions and take responsibility
Reliable and good at following jobs through to completion
Comfortable working independently and as part of a management team
Confident using basic IT systems

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is a requirement.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Our Christmas Collection: Supporting Rugby Foodbank

Christmas can be an expensive time of year, and for some families, the extra cost brings added stress and worry, as just providing the essentials is a struggle.

Rugby Foodbank helps ease that pressure by providing essential parcels to people who need a little extra support. This year, we’d love your help to support them.

We’re collecting essential food and toiletries at our office until 4th December. We’ll then deliver everything to Rugby Foodbank so they can distribute it to those in need before Christmas.

Anything you can spare will be gratefully received. Every donation makes a difference.

As you're leaving the office, locking up the warehouse or getting in the car to head home, there's a good chance a cleaner is only just getting started.

It's the invisible shift. Or at least it is when it's done well, because most of the time, you don't even notice it's happened.

The bins are just emptied. The toilet roll is where it should be when you need it. The kitchen worktop is clean and ready for making your cup of coffee. And the dust, for some reason, never appears at work.

WHO CLEANS THE CLEANING CUPBOARD?

It’s easy to concentrate on the areas everyone sees and forget about the places behind the scenes.
