We supply and install underfloor heating (UFH) either in conjunction with floor screed or as a standalone installation. Anhydrite floor screed and UFH are a perfect match for the majority of floor installations. We also offer a supply only service. Flowing floor screed is self levelling and self compacting, eliminating the need for reinforcement. It gives a perfect, high quality flat finish which

can be used with any floor covering. For home, office or commercial developments, flowing floor screed is becoming one of the most widely used techniques with up to 2000m2 being laid in a single day. Self levelling thin section floor screeds and latex floor screeds come in powder form. This is mixed with potable water or latex solution. This type of floor screed provides a thin layer of levelling compound prior to laying high tolerance floor coverings.

Express Screed recently completed a wet underfloor heating and Cemfloor liquid screed installation in Darley, North Yorkshire.

The project included:
• 4 Port Stainless Steel Manifold
• Thermostatic Blending Valve
• Grundfos UPM3 Auto Pump
• 16mm PERT Pipework at 200mm Centres
• 75mm Cemfloor Liquid Screed

This was a particularly challenging installation due to the pour distance being over 140 metres from the access point. Using 9 lines and our BMS Z3 screed pump, the screed was delivered efficiently with no issues.

Cemfloor liquid screed provides excellent thermal conductivity for underfloor heating systems, a smooth finish, and faster drying times compared to traditional screeds.

📍 Project Update – Harrogate

This week we completed our third and final visit to the former Slug and Lettuce public house in Harrogate, where Express Screed Ltd installed Longfloor Integracure screed to a small ground floor vestibule area.

Customer’s problem

The floor level needed to be raised to seamlessly match the communal areas and align perfectly with the lift door opening, all ready for tiling. Accuracy and speed were key on this one.
