Maid in Yorkshire

Well I can’t believe the time has come to hang up my marigolds and close Maid In Yorkshire. Just because I’m saying goodbye doesn’t mean it’s a failure, it’s just time.. A bittersweet ending but one that’s right for us as a family.

The past 5 years have been a whirlwind and I can’t thank all of my lovely, loyal clients enough for keeping me so busy for so long. I will be forever grateful. Everyone’s support and kind words have made this time a lot easier.

As some of you will already know I’ve signed up to take part in a trail half marathon on the 6th April.
I have decided to try raise some money to put towards helping the Harrogate Hospitals Play Specialist Team on the Woodland Ward. After previously spending a week in another hospital with Lottie and also having numerous appointments for both of my children over the years at Harrogate I know how much the hospital need the toys, books, play equipment etc. for the little ones. To help take their minds off of the pain/scariness and make those long days stuck in bed, on the wards or in waiting rooms that little bit easier for them.
Everyone will know this has been somewhat of a challenge for me. Going from no exercise since high school to a very full on 7 week training plan (thank you Natalie) but I’m enjoying it and can’t wait to see what we can raise!

We have been super duper busy recently and it’s great!!
