🚨 Important Announcement 🚨
It’s with great sadness that we must inform you that Redditch Council has instructed us to close down our business.
We’ve never experienced a council or political party so anti small business. It doesn’t feel fair. We put everything into starting our very first business, using all our savings and money borrowed from family and friends.
Many of the issues raised against us had nothing to do with us, yet we tried to justify ourselves at every point. Each time new reasons were given, and each time we spent more money on professionals and consultants to prove we were doing things properly. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, the Council used its power and decided against us.
What makes this harder is that the Council never showed us real evidence to back their case. We have photos, screenshots and recordings to prove our side. If they were truly concerned and wanted to support local businesses, they could have worked with us to find a new site. After all, they hold the information about available land and units in Redditch. But they chose not to.
We don’t appreciate how this has been handled, but we want to say sorry to all our amazing customers. Please bear with us, this is not the end. We will be back very soon.
