27th & 28th September

In just 30 days WSW Events will present the inaugural Wentworth Woodhouse Weekend, a celebration of Steampunk and Victoriana inside one of England's Grandest Stately Homes!

Curiouser and curiouser! For the first time, Steampunk Weekend is coming to Wentworth Woodhouse so come and join us as we reimagine a Victorian past with a modern twist – and even a touch of science fiction, and the peculiar!

Your admission fee into Wentworth Woodhouse allows access to a series of exhibitions and stalls to explore throughout the State Rooms, live music and entertainment in the Gardens, this is guaranteed to be a unique festival for keen enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.

Remember, all proceeds from Admission Fees goes straight into the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust and contributes towards the restoration of this magnificent House & Gardens.

ENTRANCE FEES TO WENTWORTH WOODHOUSE WEEKEND:

Wow, what a weekend that was! From little old me at WSW Events, thank you so much for your support, attendance, participation, fun, laughter and good times this weekend.

Whitby Steampunk Weekend XVIII has officially left the building...

To all involved from liking and following our page, an image, to sharing a post, your support really is something special.

To our amazing trader colleagues, guest speakers, performers and attendees, thank you.

To our venue management and teams, thank you for pulling out the stops for me, the work you guys do is just brilliant, thank you and so appreciated!

Thank you all of our attendees for being part of the Whitby Steampunk Weekend family and hope you enjoyed our curiously interesting event. I am constantly astonished by the creativity and imagination you bring to the events with your attire, and your endeavours are a joy to behold.

To our incredible photographers who work tirelessly to create those stunning images that will filter through over the next few days, some rather fabulous ones too!

Special mention to Chris Watson for being there over the weekend with the responsibility of the hi viz weighing heavily on your shoulders, to Robert and Helen of Bydand Design for the managing, organising and delivering WSW ~ The Quiz, and Justin and team at Rusty Shears for the fab venue.

Finally, to my beautiful M'Lady who, although not involved in the event itself, your love, support, encouragement and constant coffee whilst I'm locked away on the PC planning, preparing, and then disappearing for the weekend managing the event is really appreciated, thank you x

Our next adventure together will be our inaugural event at Wentworth Woodhouse Weekend 27th & 28th September.

We will be in the Pavilion at Whitby for the Whitby Steampunk Weekend Saturday and Sunday from 10 am each day. It is free admission with stalls over two floors.
