**West Berkshire Customers**

Due to West Berkshire Council changing the bin collection days, the following changes are being made to your bin cleaning schedule:

- The majority of Black Bins (General Waste) will now be cleaned every 3 weeks, or 6/9/12 weeks if specified.

- The majority of Green Bins (Garden Waste) will now be cleaned every 6 weeks, or 12 weeks if specified.

Due to the sheer amount of customers that we are now doing on certain days, unfortunately the following roads and estates below will now get their Black & Green bins cleaned every 6 weeks only:

-The Whole of Purley on Thames

-Tilehurst:
Pollards Way
The Chase
Langley Hill
Halls Road
The Meadway
City Road
Royal Avenue
Little Heath Road
Clements Mead & Prince William
Hildens Drive

-Thatcham:
Foxglove Way
Falmouth Way & Floral Way

The following roads and estates below will now get their Black Bins cleaned every 3 weeks and their Green bins cleaned every 4 weeks:

Tilehurst:
Overdown Road
Fairford Road
Knowsley Road
Long Lane
Dark Lane

We do apologise for how confusing this may seem, but it is necessary to insure that all our customers receive a regular cleaning schedule.

Dear customers

Due to one of our Basingstoke operators suddenly quitting (without notice) we are now down a van in Basingstoke. We will endeavour to get everyone’s bin cleaned as usual but some bins may get missed in the Basingstoke area, we do apologise about the inconvenience and we hope you understand our situation. We aim to get back to normal as soon as possible.

If you could kindly share this information with customers whom don’t have Facebook that would much appreciated.

**Bin cleaning operator wanted**

- Monday to Friday
- Must have a full driving license
- Preferably aged 25+
- Wages negotiable

The job will include:
- Driving in and around the Thatcham, Newbury & Reading area.
- Cleaning of the customers residential and commercial wheelie bins.
- Regularly communicating with customers.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, we won’t be operating in Andover (and the surrounding areas) this week, from Monday 26th July to Friday 30th July.
We do apologise for any inconvenience, but business shall resume as normal in 4 weeks time.

Our Office landline has reached maximum answer machine messages (64) so if you try to call it and no one answers it won’t let you leave a message, if you can either text the mobile number or send us a message on here then we can reply back to you as soon as we can. To whomever has left a message on the landline we are trying our hardest to get back to everyone, many thanks

Due to the hot weather we’ve been having recently, we have seen an increase in customer basis and we are trying to get back to everyone who has phoned the office/mobile or sent us an email or Facebook message, we do apologise but please be patient with us during this busy time, many thanks

Just to let all customers know, we shall be started back up again on Monday 1st June and then strive to get back into our usual routine, due to temporary difficulties there is a small chance some customers bins may be missed or not washed in the usual 4 weekly fashion, but we will endeavour to keep our regular and reliable reputation!
We do ask that any customers whom happen to pay cash each time we visit, to think about using an alternate method of payment (Bank Transfer/Standing Order/Cheque) or to pay cash for a few washes in front, just to reduce the amount of physical contact our operators have to deal with on a daily basis. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak and in light of the government issued advice on Monday 16th March, we regretfully inform you that Thames Valley Bin Hygiene Services and Basingstoke Bin Hygiene Services will be temporarily closed until further notice to prevent further spread of the virus and to ensure the safety of our workers and customers.
We will notify everyone when we commence work again, many thanks to each and every customer for their understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
