These mats at a local community hall had seen their fair share of mud, moisture, and all sorts tracked in over time. The fibres were matted down, the colours dulled, and the overall appearance just tired.
But no they didnβt need replacing. Just the right process.
We gave them a thorough vacuum to lift the dry soil first (often the most overlooked but crucial step). From there, a fibresafe pre-spray was applied and gently agitated to work into the pile. After dwell time, we rinsed and extracted with a low-moisture system to suit the construction of the mat, maintaining structure while flushing out embedded dirt.
