TERMS AND CONDITIONS

MANIC CLEANING (MC) operates a business as a cleaning and organising service provider, under the following terms and conditions. MANIC CLEANING (MC) reserves the right to make amendments to any and all following conditions wi

thout giving prior or current notice. In the event of MC arriving at the prearranged time and where the safe entry to the premises can not be made, due to no answer of the door or by any other means, the client will still be liable for the full cost of the services agreed.(Also see #12)

2. If any cancellations or amendments need to be made to an appointment with MC then 24hrs notice needs to be given to MC management. This should be via the original form of contract which then needs to be confirmed by MC. Any notice less than 24hrs in advance will result in the
client being liable for the full cost of the services agreed. Although every measure is made to ensure our prompt arrival, Arrival times provided are only an estimate, due to traffic congestion and other areas beyond our control.

4. Time estimates given by MC for work requested by the client, are only an estimate as the size of each area, conditions of each area and the actual level of dirtiness have a direct effect on time needed. MC will require the appropriate amount of time to complete each task to the high standards of MC.

5. The client agrees to instruct MC on which tasks to carry out as per their requirements, or provide a list of requirements/ tasks (in order of priority). Unless otherwise requested and agreed to by MC, the client shall provide all equipment in safe working order that will be needed to perform the required work. It is the responsibility of the client to inform MC of any damaged or defective equipment

6. MC reserves all rights to suspend or cancel a cleaning service, if there are issues with the access to the premises or to the water or electricity supply,
The client will still be liable for the full cost of the service provided by MC as agreed.(Also see #12)

7. Keys are provided to MC at clients own risk. The returning of keys by MC must be requested by the client during their last clean. Any key(s) not requested during the final Clean provided, will be available for the client to collect from MC at a pre arranged time . Should there be any loss of such key(s) the liability will be limited to the actual cost of the key(s) provided only, up to the value of Β£150.

8. The client has the responsibility to inform MC of any alarms on the premises and should deactivate said alarms prior to appointment time. MC holds no responsibility for the triggering of an alarm or costs related to any company deactivation call out.

9. If MC encounter any interference from contractors or any other third party, obstructing the ability to carry out requested services, the client will still be held liable for the full cost of the agreed service.(Also see #12)
Working in and around these circumstances may double the time quoted so MC reserves the right to change and adjust any quotes and amend the price accordingly.

10. Payment is required on completion of services provided, before close of business that same day the service was provided, unless other arrangements have been agreed by MC management. Payment methods are via bank transfer where the details will be provided or by cash.

11. MC reserves the right to immediately suspend any cleaning or organising service if a bill is not paid (as agreed above #10)

12. Any money due to MC will be charged 5% per every day a payment is late, including admin fees, plus any and all associated legal and admin fees incurred to recover outstanding money owed.

13. Prices are per estimate and or quote, for cleaning and organising labour. If said estimate or quote is provided solely based on the information provided by the client. MC reserves the right to amend an estimate or quote if circumstances or conditions vary and are not as initially described by the client to MC. A new quote will then be provided based on the facts of the premises. The client will still remain liable for at least the initial cost of the visit. Any extras required such as cleaning windows or blinds, fridge, freezer, oven etc , will need to be requested prior to appointment times, so the relevant time can be allocated and the relevant equipment can be provided. These are all cleaned at the clients own risk.

15. Any and all collectibles, mountings and shelving will not be moved by MC. If such areas need to be cleaned then it is the clients responsibility to move said collectibles to a safe place prior to our visit so the area can be cleaned. Claims and Complaints:

16. The client is responsible for reporting any incident, damage or complaint within 12 hours of the completion of any services received by MC. Failure to do so will void any action to rectify.

17. The client is responsible for securing or removing all fragile or easily breakable items from areas that need to be cleaned. Items excluded from any liability by MM are cash, jewelry, art works, antiques and items of sentimental value (including but not limited to damaged, fragile or unsecured items or objects).

18. It is The client's responsibility to inform MC of any defects to any items or fixtures that may be cracked, chipped, scratched or unstable and as such be prone to further damage or to cause damage of any nature. Any such item and or fixture is cleaned or handled at the exclusive risk of the client. MC has insurance to cover any accidental damages caused by a member of staff at a point of service, subject to the damages being reported within 12 hours of completion of the service in writing including photos to MC. No consequential damage will be covered.

20. Insurance will not cover anything that may breakdown or stop working at any time and this includes but is not restricted to the hoover, Steam mop, computer, fridge, freezer, microwave, dish washer, tumble drier, stove, oven and washing machine and or the instability of any item which the client is already aware of, such as headboards, bathroom fixtures or other property fittings. The client should notify MC management of items, fixtures or fittings that are poorly secured, not secured or appliances that are not in proper working order. No liability will be accepted by MC for any of the above for damage caused directly or indirectly.

21. MC will not share any confidential company/ personal information or documents.

22. Should a client not be satisfied with the level of service received, they must inform MC within the 12 hour period from the appointment time. MC reserves the right to do a re-clean of the specific area and or item only at an agreed time and day. The client will need to be present during the re-clean. Cancellation and postponement of services:

23. A booked or routine service may be postponed up to 12 hrs prior to the agreed starting time of a cleaning service. The request must be per email, direct telephone call with MC management or via the original form of contact and needs to be confirmed by MC to be valid.

24. The client understands that they will be liable for the full cost of the service requested should the notice given not be within the 12 hour notice period

25. The client is responsible to ensure that MC has access to the property as agreed and in the event of a no show or lock out by the client; the client will be held liable for the full service fee and or costs related to such.

26. Unless a specific contract is in place all regular on-going services be it, daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly require 14 days notice to terminate MC services. Notice should be made in writing via email, WhatsApp or Messenger, not via telephone. The client will still be liable for all costs of services until the 14 days have lapsed.

27. No staff member or ex-staff of MC may be given temporary or permanent employment by the client directly or indirectly (family, work) without prior negotiation with MC. This protection period stands at six months and is valid from the date service(s) from MC were terminated by the client irrespective of any cause or reason. Should a staff or ex staff member be employed within the 6 month period the client agrees to be liable for a referral fee, including admin fees and any legal cost or proof gathering

28. Quotations are valid for 7 Days.

29. Washing and ironing of clothes is done at the risk of the client. The client must inform MC on fabric and colour selection and iron settings. A pressing cloth is to be provided. A steam iron needs to be provided.

30. Any equipment moved for any reason is done at the risk of the client e.g. Fridge, washing machine etc.

31. Blinds: material blinds are not cleaned. Plastic, wood and steel blinds are cleaned at the risk of the client.

32. Television screens: Screens will not be cleaned

33. Items of value: (practical, sentimental or financial) are the responsibility of the client
We are not responsible for any negligence or forgetfulness of the client that may cause damage or loss of any valuable items. No responsibility is accepted for any loss if left on floors, on or next to bins or baskets. Foreign items from the office, garage, vehicle or workplace need to be put away prior to a clean. It is the clients responsibility to instruct MC what to do or where to place any such items if they have not been put in a safe place.

34. By requesting a quotation or agreeing to MC services , you agree to accept all terms and conditions of MC.
