Holiday Notice – Schedule Update

I will be away on holiday from 29th May to 6th June.

To keep everyone up to date, please see the temporary changes to the schedule below:

• Week commencing 25th May: All cleans will be brought forward by one day for this week only (e.g. Tuesday customers will be cleaned on Monday).

• 1st June – 5th June: All cleans during this period will be moved forward by one week. In some cases, these may remain on the new schedule going forward, depending on how the timetable works — I’ll confirm with those affected.

I appreciate your understanding and flexibility, and I’ll ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible around these dates.

Not a popular post. But I'm one guy trying to run a business.

Just a quick but important message to all customers.

I always aim to provide a reliable, professional service and I genuinely appreciate the support from those who pay promptly and keep to their bookings.

However, I’ve recently had an increase in late payments and last-minute cancellations. Over time, this is adding up to a significant loss (around £500 a month), which has a real knock-on effect on running the business day to day.

Going forward, I kindly ask that:
• Payments are made promptly after your clean
• As much notice as possible is given for any cancellations or changes

Please understand that repeated late payments or last-minute cancellations may result in being removed from the round, as I need to keep things fair and sustainable for all customers.

Another transformation completed ✅

This job involved a full conservatory roof clean, bringing it back from heavily weathered and stained to looking fresh again. The roof had built-up dirt, algae, and grime which we safely removed, restoring clarity and appearance.

We also carried out:
• Full pressure wash of the paving – removing moss, dirt, and surface staining
• Fascias, soffits & gutters cleaned externally – leaving everything looking bright and well-maintained

This was a challenging one.

We recently completed a full exterior pressure washing job, restoring this heavily neglected patio and surrounding areas back to a clean, fresh finish.
The paving was heavily covered in moss, w**ds, dirt and built-up grime, clearly not having been maintained for a long period. Using professional pressure washing techniques, we removed the thick layer of moss and thoroughly cleaned all surfaces, bringing the original colour of the slabs back through.
Special attention was also given to the artificial grass area, where w**ds, mud and debris had built up over time. This was carefully cleaned and cleared to improve both appearance and drainage.
In addition to the patio, we also cleaned the tarmac and concrete driveway areas, which were similarly affected by moss and surface buildup.
To finish the job properly, all surrounding walls, window frames and glass were cleaned down to remove any splashback, leaving the entire area looking tidy and refreshed.

Another driveway transformation completed by Mellors Cleaning Services
This job involved a full pressure wash of a concrete driveway along with a resin footpath, removing years of built-up dirt, algae, and surface staining. Over time, these surfaces can become dull and slippery, but a proper clean brings them right back to life.
The concrete drive was carefully cleaned to lift deep grime and restore its original colour, while the resin pathway was treated with the correct pressure and technique to avoid damage and bring back a fresh, clean finish.
We also cleaned the external gutters and downpipe, along with the fascia boards and soffits, removing dirt, algae, and staining to improve the overall appearance of the property and leave everything looking fresh from top to bottom.
The results made a huge difference to the overall look of the property, leaving it cleaner, safer underfoot, and much more presentable.

Another great transformation completed by Mellors Cleaning Services 💦
This job involved a full pressure wash of a block paving driveway, bringing it back to life by removing built-up dirt, moss, and w**ds. The difference speaks for itself in the before and after photos.
Once fully cleaned and dried, we applied Polymeric Block Paving Sand to re-joint the paving. This premium setting sand hardens when activated, helping to lock the blocks in place while significantly reducing w**d growth and insect activity. It’s also resistant to washout, meaning it lasts longer than standard kiln-dried sand and keeps the driveway looking fresh for longer.
We also carried out a deep clean of the crazy paving at the rear of the property, including the areas around the pond and surrounding mini walls, restoring the whole outdoor space to a much cleaner and brighter finish.
