Hopefully it's getting to the time where evenings are warmer and the stove will not be used. Don't wait until September to book in as you can get it done and you can look at it over the summer fully cleaned and glass polished and hearth tidy and ready for when it's needed in Autumn or you can just shut the door and leave it until September like everyone else but at this time of the year I am far more flexible to your schedule.

Today my customer was telling me she wants to try out for some advertising work. . She is looking to get in with a big corporate company and was hoping to be able to get some contract work . So if you're watching contact her agent(me) and let's see if we can get pumpkin some work.

It's a special day as today I'm introducing two beautiful customers who were discarded by there owners . Meet Elsie and Nellie. Elsie has one eye but she misses nothing and she was a little apprehensive when I arrived but she has been scarred by her early years and takes her time to get to know you.
Now Nellie caused me to be late for my last job as who can't resist a cuddle with this beauty. You really won't find a more loving dog and now I will reveal she has only 3 legs but why should that be any reason to get in the way of a good walk and just been the same as any other dog. I did want to sneak her in my tool bag as I left , but with an owner who takes these dogs to give them the life that they sadly never received from there first owner they were going nowhere .

Meet Charlie and Bella.
Charlie though waiting for me to finish so he could go to Lyme park and stretch his legs was more than happy to have lots of love and then some more
Bella however was out when I arrived but on her return she was more than happy to see a roaring fire . Her owner received a quick lesson on lighting a fire top down as it's ideal for a twin wall installation to enable a warm flue before fuel been burnt . . Another day of realising how much I love my job

Well December had arrived and it's time to meet my customers during the festive month.
Meet Hugo and Hector from poynton.
Two perfect gentleman who welcome me in every year and have little to say but always happy for me to work around them. Theres was Ruby in the afternoon she watched me making sure everything was done to her liking but the seal of approval was bringing me a teddy on completion. What a great job I have with such great customers. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

I am now fully booked this year .
Lots of calls asking for pre Christmas appointments but it's the same every year. Apologies to anyone who I've had to say no . But I can usually come at an hours notice April to august as for some reason nobody wants it doing . But if you can wait until 20th January I'm happy to book you in.

Eviction day 3.Aga in the kitchen would not light due to a blockage. Finally located the flue after a kitchen dismantling session and removed all the nesting out of a pan cupboard . Now my rods , brushes and sheets smell like a chip shop from I burnt sticky oil which covered all the nesting.
That's why it was Friday afternoon job so weekend to get everything fresh again.

Eviction day two . Another pair of squatters that set up home in Disley . Even jackdaws have rights and can't be evicted until there children have fled the nest. . Now the keys were handed back to the owners and they can enjoy the winter evenings in front of the fire.

Today was eviction day for a couple of unbelievably messy squatters that have taken up residency in a rather large property in alderley edge . Fortunately having served notice 8 weeks ago there was no trouble completing the job and handed the fire back to the customer to enjoy this winter as they decided not to hang around and move on to pastures new

November now full and December 19th is my last working day ,until Monday 19th January. At the moment I'm finding that customers won't wait until December but usually as they have a problem and not a regular sweep . . So at the moment I am flexible in December but for how long I can't say .
