Company Overview
RSP Drainage is an established, family-run business based in Neath Port Talbot, providing professional drainage solutions to clients across a wide service area. Due to ongoing operational expansion, we are currently recruiting for two dedicated professionals to join our team.

Drainage Jetvac Driver/Operator
- Ensure the safe driving and operation of Jetvac tankers.
- Execute high-pressure water jetting to clear blockages and clean commercial and residential drainage systems.
- Conduct routine daily checks to ensure the vehicle and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

Drainage CCTV Driver/Operative
- Ensure the safe driving and operation of specialist CCTV surveying vehicles.
- Undertake comprehensive CCTV surveys of drainage systems to identify structural issues, defects, or blockages.
- Produce accurate, detailed survey reports for clients and internal management.

Candidate Requirements:

- Driving Licence: A clean UK driving licence is essential for both positions. Please note: A Class 2 licence is preferred for the Jetvac Driver/Operator role(training can be provided)
- Certifications: A valid CSCS card is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience within the drainage sector is preferred; however, comprehensive training can be provided for suitable candidates.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to varied site locations spanning from West Wales to Bristol.
- Professionalism: High level of reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain professional standards on-site.

One of our emergency call out teams ​recently attended a property with a blockage located beneath a residential extension. Our CCTV survey revealed a significant challenge, a large hole in the pipework situated directly on a bend.

​The Challenge:
The location of the defect made a standard patch repair incredibly difficult. On our initial trial run, the repair packer kept diving into the void of the hole rather than navigating the bend. It looked like a scenario where the floor might need to be dug up—a nightmare for the homeowner.

​The Solution:
Refusing to give up on a "No-Dig" fix, our team engineered a bespoke solution on-site.
​We taped two drain rods together and pushed them directly into the void of the hole. By filling this space, the rods acted as a makeshift "guide rail" or bridge. This prevented the packer from nosing into the collapsed section, allowing us to slide the equipment smoothly past the damage and into the perfect position. Before installing the repair, we wrapped calibration hose over the repair to prevent overinflation. Prior to inflating the packer we removed the guide rods.

​The Result:
With the guide in place, the installation went perfectly. We achieved a structural, watertight repair without disturbing a single tile in the customer's extension.

No-Dig Technology - stopping rats in their tracks

We were called to a commercial building where rats were causing an issue. Our CCTV drain survey uncovered the issue—holes in a drainage pipe over a meter deep and located beneath the building.

Digging up the pipe would have caused major disruption, so we used a no-dig CIPP patch repair to seal the defects.
