🚨 INDUSTRIAL UNREST AT LAUNDRY ANGELS! 🚨

There’s been a bit of tension in the laundry today. 😂

Apparently, the washing machines have heard all this talk about minimum wage and pay rises.

And they’re FUMING.

They reckon they’re being absolutely BEASTED.

Long hours.
Heavy loads.
Constant spinning.
Not a tea break in sight.

And not a single bloody pay rise. 🤣

We’ve explained that our lovely human Angels already earn above minimum wage because we value them enormously. ❤️

The machines, however, are on a strictly unpaid arrangement.

One of the dryers is threatening to walk out.

The big rotary iron has apparently contacted ACAS.

And the washing machines are demanding time and a half for spin cycles. 🙄

We’ve told them there’ll be no negotiations until they’ve finished today’s laundry.

Joking aside, in a world where every Budget seems to bring another blow to small businesses, sometimes you’ve just got to laugh. Otherwise, you’d cry! 😂

We’re incredibly proud to be a small business that employs lovely local people, pays them fairly and works bloody hard to keep everything spinning.

Even when the numbers make our heads spin too! 🙈

Anyway, local businesses, WE NEED MORE WASHING!

The staff are happy, the machines are revolting, and we’ve still got capacity for more customers. 😂

🚨 DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THIS VAN BELONGS TO?! 🚨

It’s been spotted driving around the local area, stopping outside people’s houses and leaving suspiciously neat piles of beautifully washed, dried and ironed clothes.

Apparently, they’re even collecting people’s dirty laundry and bringing it back CLEAN! 😡 And in this weather!!!! 🙈

It’s getting ridiculous now.

People are being left with absolutely no excuse not to put their feet up, have a cuppa and do bu**er all.

Surely something needs to be done about this?! 🤣

If anyone knows who’s responsible, please name and shame them below. 👇

Haha…for me it’s emptying the dishwasher cutlery basket, I mean it’s not difficult is it, but sometimes I just think…you can go round again. 😇🙈
But IF it’s laundry or ironing, we got you! And we can do last minute collections, don’t feel like you need plan or commit to anything long term.

🚐💕 WE’VE ONLY GONE AND FINALLY GOT OUR VAN SIGN WRITTEN!! 😇

YIPPEEEE!! 🎉

Running a small business is sometimes a bit like being a busy mum in a chaotic household.

You know all those little things you’d love to do for yourself? Paint your nails, put a hair mask on, maybe even sit down with a cuppa while it’s still hot ? 😂

Well, they never quite make it to the top of the list because there’s always something more important that needs doing!

And that’s exactly how it’s been with getting our van sign written.

It’s been on the to-do list for what feels like FOREVER, but we’ve finally done it and I’m absolutely chuffed with how it’s turned out! 💕

Next on the list is getting our website live. I’ve been building that myself, learning from YouTube as I go. Who knew running a laundry business would involve becoming a part-time web designer too?! 😂

We’re getting there, one job at a time!

We’re out collecting laundry bags and baskets tomorrow morning, so if you’ve got a mountain of washing, a pile of ironing or both, give it to us!

It’s ridiculously easy!

🧺 Step 1: Bag up your washing or ironing. Any bag will do!

📝 Step 2: Pop a note inside telling us what you’d like us to do. Wash, dry & fold? Ironing? The whole lot?

📲 Step 3: WhatsApp us your address and collection instructions. Knock on the door, leave it in the porch, wherever suits you!

☕ Step 4: Put your feet up. We’ll take it from here!

And the best bit? Collection AND delivery are FREE! 🚐

💷 How much does it cost?

We charge by weight, but to give you a rough idea:

🧺 Wash, dry & fold – £25 for approximately THREE full loads of washing from your machine at home!

👕 Ironing – just £4 per kg throughout October!

No washing hanging around the house, no tumble dryer running for hours and no ironing board staring at you from the corner. 😂

Let’s face it, wrestling a king-size duvet into your washing machine at home is nobody’s idea of fun. Especially when you finally get it in, shut the door and realise there’s no room for any water. 🙈

Add £7.50 for feather duvets please.

🚐 Can’t be bothered to leave the house? Give us a few to do for free collection and delivery. Free delivery kicks in at £25.
