Ok, so if I tell you some of these petals took HALF AN HOUR EACH to make, do you get a scale of how long this thing took me to make?

Add a couple of years procrastination in there…

Obsessed.

I’ve got a couple of big projects done and dusted - I’ll be sharing pics and info soon.

But just a little fyi to my local peeps - I am into my second prom enquiry - you would not believe how quick these few months go! So if you’re looking for alterations or something totally bespoke I’m your gal!

Pictured - Princess Blobfish, my first ball jointed doll, isn’t she pretty?!

All glass beads, one at a time, no fabric. I will always love bead weaving.
The flowers are done using a right angle weave, the filling and the borders are different netting techniques.

I made this 1920’s inspired beaded tabard 11 years ago for and I always felt it lacked a certain something, it didn’t hang nice, the sides were laced, and I was stumped and hated it for so long. I couldn’t face putting more work into a piece that had already taken 220+ hours only to be knocked out in the first round.
Last month I decided to finally address the issues I had with it - I sewed fringing with vintage glass and onyx beads to weigh it down, and two clasps on each side to hug the body without needing a second person to lace in.
Weighing in at 996g, with over 250 hours of work, this is the biggest, heaviest and most elaborate piece to date. I filmed this in low light to capture the sparkles, which I can finally enjoy.

Got a new shop on Etsy and this baddie is the first thing I’ve listed on there.

Incredibly heavy duty PVC on coutil, suitable for tightlacing, made to your unique measurements.
Brilliant for tummy control and larger busts but adaptable to all body shapes.

This is one of my favourite makes. No pattern, all trial and error, adorable*
