EXPERIENCED DRAINAGE OPERATIVE VACANCY

Drain Care (South West) Ltd, who are based in Plymouth, are seeking an experienced drainage operative, preferably with at least 2 years’ experience of working within the drainage industry. The successful candidate will be required to cover domestic and commercial sites, generally within a 15 mile radius of Plymouth.
Must be experienced in all aspects of carrying out drain/pipe unblocking, CCTV surveys and reports, higher pressure jetting, no-dig lining and drain repairs.
The candidate will be required to work/adhere to the WRC ‘Drain Repair Book’ (best practise manual) to maintain the reputation of the company’s high standards. Any additional training will be offered to the right candidate.
Must hold a full UK driving license (maximum 3 points) and be over the age of 21 for insurance purposes.
We are seeking a polite and well-presented candidate with good communication skills to liaise with customers. Well-organised, hardworking and a good sense of humour are vital.
We are a small, well-established, local family business (39 years) consisting of a team of 4 to 6 persons. Our working hours are generally Monday to Friday between 0800 to 1800. Saturdays and Sundays 0900 to 1700 are on a call-out basis and optional. We are not a 24-hour service and neither do we advertise it as 90% of our work is within the above hours.
Salary is dependent on experience.
