📍 NEW PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT — Pound’s House, Plymouth
A Full Restoration Clean | Start-to-Finish Documentary Series
Today marks the beginning of one of the most exciting projects we’ve ever taken on.
We’ve been given the opportunity to clean and restore Pound’s House in Central Park — a Grade II listed, 200-year-old mansion that recently went up for auction and sparked huge public interest across Plymouth.
This building isn’t just another clean.
It’s history.
It’s heritage.
It’s a landmark that generations of local people have walked past, visited, and celebrated moments inside.
And now, after years of weathering, algae build-up, and exposure, we’re here to begin bringing it back to life.

🎥 Introducing: “Saving Pound’s House” — A Multi-Episode Cleaning Series
Over the coming days, we will be documenting this project in full — from the moment we step onto site to the final reveal.
Each episode will take you behind the scenes of what it actually takes to clean a building of this scale and age, including:
EPISODE 1 — The Forgotten Mansion
A walkthrough of the building in its current condition, a look at the worst affected areas, and an overview of the history that makes Pound’s House so important to Plymouth.
EPISODE 2 — The Restoration Begins
Careful soft-washing and low-pressure cleaning on the delicate listed façades, removing decades of grime and uncovering original detail.
EPISODE 3 — Revealing the Architecture Beneath
Close-up transformation shots, balcony cleaning, stone detailing, arches, mouldings, and all the hidden sections that haven’t been touched in years.
EPISODE 4 — The Final Reveal
A complete before-and-after transformation of the building, along with reflections on the process, challenges, and the importance of maintaining historic sites like this.

🏛️ Why This Project Matters
Pound’s House has served many roles throughout its long life — a private home, council offices, a social hub, a library, and even a wedding venue.
After sitting empty, the building has become a talking point again following its recent sale.
This clean isn’t just cosmetic.
It’s part of the building’s preparation for its next chapter, whatever that may become.
We’re proud to play a small part in preserving a piece of Plymouth’s heritage.
