Although the cottage’s huge glass were of course new when installed, they were exposed to . Additionally, Roshnak found had started to form on the glass surface due to hard water attack. The solution was application of the Ritec ®, developed for the , and of glass. This System upgrades ordinary glass to superior, ClearShield Eco-Glass®.

Roshnak first renovated the glass using specialist Ritec Glass products to get it back to its -new appearance before protecting it with unique ClearShield® glass surface treatment. The newly treated glass is now upgraded to ClearShield Eco-Glass® and its 'non-stick' surface is easier to clean and keep clean compared to ordinary glass. The durable ClearShield® protection resists , and and saves time and effort when maintaining the glass.
