Let’s talk about realistic cleaning times.

One of the biggest mistakes I see cleaners make is guessing the time a job will take and then undercharging.

Here’s the truth: every room has its own rhythm.

If you know roughly how long each area takes, you can quote confidently and stay profitable, instead of racing against the clock.

💡 Example:

A standard 3 bed home should take around 2–3 hours, depending on how cluttered or detailed the clean is, so bare in mind this is about the process of the pricing not that this is accuracy as lots of variables to consider per property.

That includes:

• Bedrooms – 10–15 mins each
• Bathroom – 20–30 mins
• Kitchen – 20–30 mins
• WC – 8–10 mins
• Utility – 15 mins
• Reception – 20 mins

This isn’t about cleaning faster, it’s about cleaning smarter.

When you understand your timings, your pricing, scheduling, and workload all start to flow.
