I'm working on making my window cleaning round run more smoothly, with less time spent on admin and more time focused on looking after my customers.

One way I'm doing this is by encouraging more customers who currently pay by bank transfer (BACS) to switch to **GoCardless**.

✅ Payments are collected automatically.
✅ No need to remember to make a payment each time.
✅ One less thing for you to worry about!

**What about cash payments?**

If you currently pay by cash, nothing changes at all! 😊

Switching to GoCardless is completely optional, and you're welcome to continue paying by your usual method.

If you'd like to switch to automatic payments, you can sign up using the link below:

Thanks, as always, for supporting my small local business! 👍

**🚨 Customer Reminder 🚨**

A quick reminder to all customers regarding access to properties.

This week I’ve had a number of customers who haven’t unlocked their gates, despite receiving a reminder text the evening before.

If I can safely unlock the gate myself, I will do so, but I won’t be climbing over gates or fences to gain access.

From Monday 12th October if I’m unable to access the property because a gate hasn’t been unlocked, I will charge **70% of the full clean price**.

This covers the windows I’m able to clean, as well as the time and cost of travelling to the job.

Please make sure gates are unlocked where necessary so I can access the property and complete the clean as normal.

Thanks for your understanding 👍

With the hosepipe ban now in place, I just wanted to reassure all of my customers that your regular window cleaning will continue as normal. 👍
The restrictions do not prevent professional window cleaners from using a hosepipe as part of their business.
The information from South West Water specifically states that a hosepipe can still be used when cleaning as part of a professional service or business.
So there’s no need to worry — I’ll still be able to come and clean your windows as usual. 💧🪟
Thank you for your continued support! 😊

I’m working locally this week in Ivybridge, Eggbuckland, Cornwood and surrounding villages, and Saltash.

I have limited availability for regular 6-weekly window cleans.

Are your gutters blocked or overflowing? Now’s a good time to get them checked.
