Up next was this BMW X5 for polishing and ceramic coatings.

A late night start ment I wash washing in the dark, I like to make things extra challenging.

The paintwork looked shiny, but once it had been cleaned and decontaminated it was clear to see that the paintwork was full of defects, I had a challenge ahead of me.

The wheel were washed, decontaminated, and then ceramic coated, before getting covered up to prevent them from getting dusty during the polishing stages to come.

This giant Range Rover Autobiography was recently in for the most popular package here at PPM carcare; and enhancement detail polish and ceramic coatings.

The detail starts the same way whether it's a small Ford Ka or this huge Range Rover.
It all starts with a thorough wash and decontamination to ensure everything is as clean as possible for the polishing stage.

Once cleaned and dried you can see the extent of the work required on the gloss black trims, they are heavily heavily swirled, the paintwork wasn't too bad thankfully.

This wee Ford Ka is looking years younger, better than brand new, which isnt bad for a 9 year old car !

This was achieved by carrying out a machine polish to return the shine to the paintwork before locking it in with a ceramic coating.

This wee Ford Ka arrived needing some deep cleaning to remove a substantial amount of organic growth.

A strong pre wash helped to remove a lot of the growth and dirt prior to carrying out the contact wash phase.

As you can see, during the chemical decontamination stage the iron remover lit up purple highlighting a lot of contamination stuck in the paintwork.

Once brought inside a good going over with a clay bar removed any contaminates the chemicals didn't get, leaving the paint as smooth as glass.

With the whole car clean and the workshop lights now on the paintwork it was clear to see a good machine polish was required to restore clarity to the paintwork, headlights, and taillights.

The Ford Kuga is ready for coating.

The paintwork received an enhancement polish, removing the scratches and swirls knocking years of the finish.

The exterior plastics were also cleaned in preparation for coating.

The interior was valeted, the leather seats were surprisingly dirty, but cleaned up well.

Up next was this Ford Kuga, it has been very well looked after by its owner, however at 9 years old it is looking a little dull.

The owner brought it in for me to bring the finish back to life and lock it in with a ceramic coating.

As usual the detail starts off with a deep clean, decontamination, inspection, before taping off the plastic trim ready to begin polishing.

An enhancement level detail and polish was carried out on this stunning Audi S3.

The paintwork was rock hard, so it took some heavy compounding to remove what looked like car wash scratches.

After all the havy cutting the paintwork was refined and it was looking fantastic, super deep deep and glossy, ready for its ceramic coating protection.
