Field House prides itself on being a ‘Home from Home’ for its elderly and EMI (dementia) residents. We’re situated in approximately ¾ acre of land in the scenic, countryside village of Eye, just four miles from the cathedral city of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. We opened in 1989 with the aim of giving older people from a multicultural and socially diverse city an opportunity to continue living

as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their disabilities and needs. RBL took over the home in July 2019 still providing a high standard of care. As well as providing physical care we offer a wide range of services to make like at Field House as homely as possible. With social activities such as coffee mornings and fun activities including professional entertainers and sing-alongs, we encourage our residents to join in all group activities. Our residents also enjoy painting, gardening and even helping out with daily household chores like folding the laundry! We currently offer accommodation for 49 residents who are seeking loving care and attention in peaceful surroundings. All rooms are light and spacious with a restful décor, overlooking the countryside and gardens, Most have en suite facilities. At Field House the emphasis is placed on dedicated service in a family environment. Our principal concern is to care for our elderly residents, whatever their need or frailty. We will encourage them to maintain as much independence as possible within their capabilities. We will also help them to retain links with families and friends and enjoy other pursuits and to participate in activities at Field House and the village of Eye. It is important for us to enable people from all backgrounds to continue living as much of their normal life as possible and we will assist them in participating in their own cultural and religious occasions as much as possible. Field House has been extensively renovated to cater fully for the residents. At the rear of the grounds there is a beautiful mature garden with attractive lawns and we also have an enclosed all year courtyard with benches and a feature fountain.
