Hello, this is Lydia, Kelly's daughter, I've put together some of Smoothly does it frequently asked questions along with the answers.
Q. Where are you based?
A. Yaxley, Peterborough
Q. How does it work?
A. Customer contacts us through messenger or text to see what availability there is and a slot is arranged. Or we can schedule a regular weekly/fortnightly/monthly slot.
Q. Do you have a strict schedule?
A. No I don't, it is best to book in as far in advance as possible to avoid me not having availability but I will always try to fit you in.
Q. Do you collect/deliver?
A. Yes this can be arranged, it is free within yaxley and some days to Ramsey, and a small charge is added for further afield.
Or the customer is always welcome to drop off and collect from me.
Q. How far out of yaxley will you travel too?
A. I'm happy to travel within Peterborough, Ramsey and surrounding areas.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. It is £1 and item*, or £20 for up to 32 items,
*Some items have an additional cost, such as duvet covers and pleats.
Q. What if I don't have a basket?
A. This is fine, I can take your garments in whatever you do have, box/basket/bag.
Q. Do you hang the clothes once ironed?
A. As standard I will fold everything. If you would prefer things hung up please send your own hangers.
Q.what is your turn around time?
A. I aim to return clothing within 24 hours, this time maybe slightly longer during school holidays.
Q. Is there an minimum or maximum number of items.
A. There is a minimum charge of £5, but no upper limit, please note larger jobs may require extra time.
