Today’s clean is calling for……the BIG caddy! 🪣✨

Usually I’m out and about with my trusty little caddy, packed with all the essentials for regular maintenance cleans.

But today is a little different… it’s the start of a weekly room-by-room reset clean, helping bring my lovely client’s home back up to scratch before moving onto regular maintenance.

That means the big caddy gets to come along! 😄

At first glance it probably looks like I’m carrying enough products to clean a hotel, but the reality is that around half of them probably won’t even be used.

Every home is different and every clean throws up different challenges, so I’d much rather arrive fully prepared than realise halfway through that I don’t have the right product or tool to finish the job properly.

Whether it’s tackling cobwebs, built-up dust, stubborn marks or sparkling glass, having the right equipment with me means I can adapt to whatever I find 🖤💚

☀️ It’s Monday morning and the start of a new week!

The caddy is stocked for my 9am this morning, the hoover is ready, the mop is packed, and I’m all set for another week of helping homes feel fresh, clean and stress-free 🧽✨

It’s amazing how the smallest things can make the biggest difference; a sparkling bathroom, streak-free floors, or simply walking into a home that feels clean and welcoming.

Whether you’re heading off to work, juggling the school holidays, or just trying to keep on top of everything life throws at you, I’m here to take one thing off your to do list.

Hello folks, I hope you are all well and enjoying this absolutely fantastic weather we've been having!

It's been a quieter week on the cleaning front this week, with one of my lovely fortnightly regular cleans ticked off.

The rest of the week has been spent meeting new people, welcoming new clients onboard, replying to enquiries, keeping the diary organised and (most importantly!) making the most of this amazing weather with a bit of time in the garden 🙂

Next week is looking like a bit of a milestone for Scrub Life, with my first three consecutive days of cleaning booked in......and possibly a fourth! It's great to see the diary gradually filling up, one client at a time.

Right.....time to refill the bottles and get everything packed and ready for Monday!

👋 Hi everyone! I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself.

I’m Louise, the face behind Scrub Life Cleaning Services 🧹🧼🫧

After spending the last 16 years working in IT Project Management and Business Change, I decided it was time to take a leap and build something of my own.

It wasn’t a decision I made overnight, but I wanted to create a business where I could make a real difference to people’s day-to-day lives while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Every home is different, every client is different, and I love being able to help make life that little bit easier.

A little bit about me:

🐶 🐈🐇 At home we have what can only be described as a little zoo! Along with our diva dog Bailey, we also have two cats and two albino rabbits, so life is never quiet! 🐇🐈‍⬛

🎶 I absolutely LOVE concerts, gigs and festivals, and I’m always counting down to my next holiday or weekend adventure🌞

☕ Family and friends are incredibly important to me, and when I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with them or planning my next trip!

It’s hard to believe Scrub Life has already been up and running for a week! The support I’ve received has been amazing, so thank you to everyone who has liked, shared, recommended my page or trusted me with their home already. It genuinely means the world to a small local business.

I’m really excited to see where this journey takes me, and I can’t wait to meet more of you along the way.

✨ Cleaning Tip Tuesday ✨

Confession time… 🤭

I just realised I didn’t wish anyone a Happy Monday yesterday! However that is not my confession……….😁

I’ve never fully appreciated just how amazing a simple microfibre cloth really is!

Damp, it can lift dust, grease and everyday grime from so many surfaces with very little product.

Dry, it’s brilliant for dusting and buffing surfaces to a lovely streak-free finish.

AND……they are also amazing on glass with some window cleaner, followed by a waffle glass cloth for that further enhanced shine!

Sometimes the simplest tools are the ones that work the hardest! 💚🖤

Also, there’s so many colours for using in different rooms!! 😍 🫧🧹🧼

✨ What a day! ✨

Today I had the privilege of getting a brand-new Airbnb photograph and guest-ready, transforming it from a dusty space into a fresh, sparkling home ready to welcome its first visitors. 🧽🏡

The property has been getting a lot of work done recently, so there was a lot of dust to contend with!

There’s something really satisfying about walking into a property and leaving it looking clean, fresh and ready for someone to enjoy.

Every clean is different, and every one is another opportunity to do what I love while helping my clients.

In the afternoon, I had a lovely meet and greet with another new client 😊

Today marks the official opening of Scrub Life Cleaning Services, and I couldn’t be happier to finally get started!
