The only video of today! All residents loved the ice cream van coming to pay us a visit!

And yes….half the staff were sat inside the water fountain when the ice cream van arrived!

Don’t judge us, it’s hot and the water was too inviting not to go for a dip after the lunchtime rush 🥵 😂

What an amazing day! Animals, picnic, so many laughs and finished off with fresh doughnuts 😋Thoroughly enjoyed by all, I think it’s fair to say we’ll all sleep tonight!

We’re off to Folly Farm today! So if you’re planning on visiting, just give us a ring before hand to check if we’re back!
To the residents who wanted to stay behind, they’ll probably have more fun as the big bosses are up taking control today - we don’t know what state the home will be in on our return - the last time this happened we came back to ripped up carpets! 😅

Big thank you to Leanne who cooked a fantastic lunch which included a choice of 3 meats a trifle and a Easter cake! Followed by a buffet this evening lots of full bellies here! 🐰🐤🐣

2026 inspection report. First inspection with the new guidelines and ratings. We are proud to say we scored Excellent across all four categories! 🥳 Cartref Croeso’s close knit team made this possible. A post to praise the girls at the home - each and every one knows all our residents like the back of their hands! The team have built such special relationships over the years with residents, their families and friends - many of whom we are convinced only come to see us! 😉

The return of the lovely ladies at Animal Cwtch! A few of our residents braved the visits from the snakes and bearded dragons, but we did get cuddles with the bunnies too!
