Today we carried out a full gutter clear and clean (including all fascias, soffits, downpipes and drains) and window clean on this lovely care home in Newton Abbot. We are back next week to do next door too 😊

We will be with you as soon as we can. The van had an accident whilst we were sleeping at the weekend. We are sorting a replacement van and back on the road. 2020 is certainly proving to be a challenge.

🔔 Covid-19 Announcement 🔔

Following the governments statement yesterday evening, it comes with a heavy heart that we must temporarily suspend work 😔

We are unsure how long this will last at the minute, as we are as in the dark as everyone else, hopefully with some more direction from the government we may be able to continue working 🤞

It’s been a very difficult decision for us to make both financially and mentally as there does not seem to be much help for the self employed, which I worry will force sole traders to continue working.

We do work outdoors and come into very litttle contact with people (if any at all), however, we may review this in time and possibly only clean people’s houses where by they pay online and we take extra precautions.
But we will wait for more guidance given from the powers above.
(As they have not been very clear at this point in time)

You may see other people still out and about working, But I for one currently, on moral grounds, would hate to think that I played some part in prolonging the spread/spreading of the virus or contributed in some way towards people’s deaths or risk my own and family’s health along with others at the same time.

We will keep updating on here with our plans.

I would personally like to thank you all for your understanding in this very uncertain situation.

🔔COVID-19 Statement🔔

In response to the measures the government are taking, I thought it only sensible to let you all know what measures as a company we will be taking to help prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus 🦠;

1. We will be using hand sanitiser before and after every job in addition to disposable gloves to ensure no transmission of the virus.

2. We will sanitise the brush head between every job.

3. We WILL NOT clean at houses whilst the household is self isolating, as we do clean for the vulnerable and at risk groups.

If you could let us know if you are self isolating that would be much appreciated.
(Normal service will resume at your property the following clean)

4. We will be asking that all customers please pay us by bank transfer where at all possible. If not a cheque sent to our address is preferable (or left in a dry and safe place which has been pre determined) this is all with the aim of reducing person to person contact.

5. Whilst I do like to have a chat with customers and see how people are, We will be practicing social distancing, this means that we will not be knocking on your door, we will carry out our clean as usual and post an invoice once complete (maybe a little wave through the window will have to suffice 😂).

6. We can also invoice you via email, so if you would prefer this method of invoicing (which is also great for the environment by the way 👍) send us your email address and in future we can also aim to go paperless 😊

On a personal note, I have been testing my temperature everyday, as have my family, but I will be increasing this (for myself) to every morning and evening just to be on the safe side. None of my family members show any symptoms and if they do, we, like others will self isolate to hopefully combat this virus 🦠

We completely acknowledge and understand that this whole situation could make people nervous about everything, like going shopping 🛒 , food shortages, work, visiting family, weekends away and holidays etc...
If there is anything we can do for you please do let us know (even if it’s dropping off some milk!).
Our Devon community spirit will get us through this!

🥳Happy new year to all our customers 🥳

I would also like to thank you for your custom as it is very much appreciated 😊

We have some changes happening within the company this year with our long standing employee Tom leaving 🥺, he has been a credit to my company over the years he has worked for me and he will be missed by all and we wish him all the best in the future.
