❤️🚶 MILTON KEYNES MAN TO WALK 100 MILES FOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES THAT HELPED SAVE HIS LIFE 🚶❤️
A Milton Keynes man is preparing to take on an incredible challenge to give back to the mental health services that supported him during some of the darkest moments of his life.
Luke Radwell has pledged to help raise £30,000 for the Campbell Centre, part of a wider project aiming to raise £90,000 for three vital local services:
💙 Campbell Centre Mental Health Unit
💙 TOPAS Older People’s Services
💙 Cherrywood Rehabilitation Centre
The money raised will help transform key areas for patients and staff into therapeutic, welcoming environments designed to:
✨ Reduce stress and anxiety
✨ Support recovery
✨ Create calm and engaging spaces
Luke’s motivation is deeply personal.
Many years ago, he battled severe mental health difficulties which led to episodes of self-harm and su***de attempts. Despite having the support of loved ones around him, he found himself receiving care at the Campbell Centre on multiple occasions.
Today, Luke says he is the strongest he has ever been.
❤️ He has a loving partner
👨👩👧👦 His children and family around him
🏢 His own small business
💪 A determination to help others facing similar struggles
To launch the fundraising campaign, Luke will undertake an extraordinary challenge on 21st July 2026.
🚶 He will walk 100 miles from the Campbell Centre in Milton Keynes to the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust headquarters in London and back again.
Luke hopes the challenge will not only raise vital funds but also shine a light on the importance of mental health support and recovery.
He said the cause is one that remains incredibly close to his heart and thanked everyone in advance for their support.
Good luck, Luke. What an incredible way to give back to the services that helped change your life. ❤️👏
