Once again we’re seeing “local businesses” being investigated after employees were found taking drugs on site and immigration officers having to step in and fine another company over 80K
Yet people still continue to support them.
Let’s be honest about what many of these places really are. The same model we’ve all seen countless times with v**e shops and certain chicken shops.
Businesses that exist purely to wash money, exploit illegal labour and operate well below the standards legitimate companies are expected to follow.
And the uncomfortable truth is this: they only survive because YOU keep using them.
You wouldn’t send your own child to work in an environment like that, so why are you sending your employees there?
Because it’s cheap.
Because it saves a few quid.
Because it’s easy to turn a blind eye to the working conditions when the invoice is low enough.
People complain about the state of the country, but the moment doing the right thing costs slightly more, the complaints go quiet.
At Rinse Works, we’ve built the business the opposite way.
Our team are well paid (they’ll happily tell you that themselves), they care about the company because they have a stake in it, and they take pride in the work they deliver. Rain or shine.
No drugs.
No exploitation.
No cutting corners.
Yes, we charge more than the roadside scratch-and-shine operations.
But when you work with us, you know exactly what you’re getting: Your getting me and my team, you know us by name and we know you by name, your not a number, your not a job sheet you clien, who respect the industry, respect our work, and we respect the customers who trust us with their vehicles.
And if you need help with anything vehicle related, day or night, we’ll be there and not hiding in a diffrent country.
That’s how a proper business should operate.
