Back at it yesterday….

This is a previous customer’s new toy after receiving its 1st wash after pick up from the dealer. A 2024 BMW M3 Competition, and it’s a thing of beauty. The previous owner was particularly meticulous with it, it’s in pristine condition, so my customer wants to do the same and has booked in every 4 weeks going forwards. Stunning car 🔥

A little walk around of Paul’s awesome RS3 Park VW Show on Sunday. There aren’t many left in this condition. He’s planning a full rear subframe rebuild over the winter. This thing when finished will be concourse level.

Yesterday I attended Tatton Park VW show with a trade stand of customers and my own cars. I attended the same show 12 months ago. Last year I arrived with customer’s beautiful cars, but not much else, and if it wasn’t for them looking as good as they did, I’d have been largely unnoticed at such a big show ground. Fast forward 12 months, more amazing customer cars but I was placed with the amazing and .co, both big players in the Volkswagen/Audi world. I now have a clear brand, logo and style, with matching with gazebos, merchandise, key rings and air fresheners. To some, those things are small scale but to me it’s a reminder of the progression that the business has made over the last 12 months, and the start of next phase of growth.

As always, thank you to the customers that gave up their Sunday and allowed me to use their cars. These types of shows are to showcase my work, and to attract new custom. But a special thank you to those customers that return time and time again and trust me to care for their pride and joy.

Here’s to the next 12 months

Yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity to get this amazing 911 GT3 ready for today’s show at Park VW show. In all honesty, it wasn’t too dirty, and had come straight from Porsche Edinburgh to me. Still, it was a real honour to give it its first wash and get it all set up for the show on such a beautiful car. This one also serves as a proud moment, watching a friend fulfil a dream of owning such a stunning machine

Last weekend, I received this stunning MK3 Focus RS Special Edition, which had been waiting for some much needed TLC. It had been sitting idle for a while, like many of us have experienced, as life got in the way. So, we gave the whole car a thorough makeover.

The paint was in good shape beneath the dirt and grime, but it had some swirls and scratches typical of its age. We needed to fix that and then apply a four-year coating. The interior needed a fair bit of attention, and the car’s nooks and crannies had their own little eco system that required some elbow grease. But as always, with a bit of time and patience, the car turned out beautifully. It was such a lovely result, and another job is complete.

Throw back to Mk1 Golf. This was a hugeeee job, but turned out mega! Fast forward 12 months and it’s the same sun battered red paint, but on 30 tonne plane tugs instead for Jet2 and .

And today after introducing Ted and his photography yesterday, here is the end product of this monster of a job. So many hours polishing curves, small panels and awkward bits along with the usual swirls and scratches. This job felt like it took an eternity to finish. But it looked sooo good when all was said and done. This G doesn’t see light of day very often, but is due to attend a wedding this weekend, so hopefully gets the attention it rightly deserves.

A little bit of something different this morning. Introducing who is a 14 year old up and coming Manchester photographer. Ted came down to the studio on Wednesday evening with his dad to take some shots of this stunning G wagon, before the customer picked it up.

You’d usually find Ted snapping super cars in Alderley Edge on a weekend, or attending local coffee meets and car shows with his dad. Ted will be joining me regularly going forwards, I’m hoping he can level up the shots on my customers cars, whilst he gets that all important photography practice. Give him a like and follow 📸
