Tequila & Goats Cheese Oysters
A wee bit disappointed in this recipe - the sauce was just a bit too sweet for me. Is this because it asked for Gold Label Tequila and Shona has left me with Silver Label 🤷‍♀️
But I did like the warmth of the chilli in it and it worked with the goat cheese. It warrants another try 👍🏻

Grill or fry some smoked streaky bacon until crisp and dice it up.
Shuck your oysters and arrange in your grill pan, maybe with scrunched up foil - you do not want to lose any of the fabulous juices!!
Add a sliver of butter, a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce and the diced bacon.
Put under the hot grill until sizzling!
You can eat just like this as a starter but I cooked up noodles and peppers and poured the oysters and juices over the top. Made a delicious Friday night tea! 👌🏼
PS - Oysters at the honesty box stand tomorrow!!

Grilled Oysters with Parmesan & Cream 👌🏼
First, shuck your oysters and arrange them in your grill pan. We have this fantastic invention, that holds oyster shells perfectly with no wobble.
Spoon over a dessert spoon of cream on each oyster. I had double cream but single would work just as well.
Sprinkle a teaspoon of grated Parmesan over each oyster and a couple of grinds of black pepper.
Place under a hot grill until the cheese and browned.
Serve with a salad and oatcakes or bread.
