The Oban Winter Festival’s team of volunteers are bringing The Great Oban Food Market to town - a celebration of the incredible local food, drink and artisan produce from across Scotland, Argyll & The Isles. Expect fresh seafood, home‑baked favourites, cheeses, preserves, whisky, sweet treats and so much more… all under one roof at the Corran Halls.

We are all set up at Lochnell Castle for a wedding this afternoon. The couple requested Horseradish sauce as well as lemon, Tabasco and mignonette sauce to be served with their oysters.
The weather isn’t perfect but the bridal party and their guests are looking fabulous! The castle is a great venue for such a special occasion.

Yesterday I had three groups of farm tour visitors through the day! First up were these young lads from Denmark who had completed the West Highland Way, climbed Ben Nevis and were now en route home.
They love their oysters and were so interested in learning how to farm them.
