I currently run 3 businesses, commercial cleaning, domestic cleaning and a linen hire company and I’m starting to struggle keeping on top of all my paperwork, so I’m looking for someone that can help me with this and get some good systems in place to help everything run more smoothly and possibly help with a website and more social media presence.
I’m happy to employ someone or self employed, this would be for 1 day a week on a Friday and possible more in the future.

I currently run my business from home but we have been established for nearly 16 years with 12 employees and 1 self employed person.

We are still looking for another reliable part time cleaner 16/20 per week possibly full time for the right person, joining our existing team with immediate start available for the right person.

Must be able to drive with access to a car.

Week day starting time 8.30am until 3/4

Weekend starting time between 9/10 until. 3/4.30 depending on the check in times.

We cover a wide area of Nottingham and Newark doing a combination of domestic cleans and Airbnb’s which are house keeping cleans.

What some people don’t understand regarding the difference between employment and self employment, they think an employed position is less money, which it can be but also comes with added benefits as well.

People look at my pay and think it’s not enough, what some people don’t consider are their expenses and what the deductibles will be and some won’t come out with much more than the wages paid by employers.

We pay traveling time which can equate to 1 hour a day depending on the jobs, that’s an extra £12.50 to £13

Working 18 hours equates to £1,310.40 holiday pay each year.

Mileage paid weekly rather than coming off your tax bill at the end of the year.

Guaranteed hours each week

No cost for advertising

No cost for cleaning equipment and supplies

No cost for insurance

No cost for accountancy

Not having clients contacting you all hours of the day and sometimes in the night (I kid you not)

Not having to deal with any complaints or accidents.

Not everyone wants the added stress of all the paperwork and never getting a proper day off.

I understand this and have come to the conclusion i’m ok with having to work even when I’m on holiday or just out for a meal.

If employment isn’t for you that’s fine but that doesn’t mean it isn’t ok for the ones that wants the security that an employed position can give people and the fact we’ve been trading for over 15 years.

We are looking for an experienced domestic/Airbnb cleaner/house keeper to join our existing team, weekday and weekend shift available and the availability to cover holiday and sick leave would be an advantage, we clean 37 Airbnb properties, it’s 16/20 hours a week with some flexibility on the days and time, working in a team of 2 or 3 people must drive and have access to a car, this is a physical job so a good level of fitness would be required and an eye for detail and the ability to go above and beyond the normal clean. This is an employed position paid weekly with holiday entitlement and pension contributions plus mileage paid when using your own car.

Due to taking on new staff we now have some spaces available Monday to Friday for domestic cleans, weekly or fortnightly cleans (sorry no monthly’s available) prices start from £22 per hour per person with a minimum 2 hour requirement, fully insured and we supply cleaning products and equipment.
