We’re proud to support something that genuinely makes a difference locally.

At Embers, we’ve donated the funds so that every child at Robin Hood Primary School receives a toothbrush 🪥

This is part of an incredible initiative called The Ilkeston 100 — a community project set up by local dentist Dr Kev Chavda to tackle high levels of tooth decay in children across the area.

The aim is simple but powerful:
👉 10,000 toothbrushes into the hands of local children

Alongside the toothbrushes, the project delivers:
• Educational school visits
• Oral health awareness
• And even “golden tickets” for electric toothbrushes

Tooth decay is still one of the leading causes of hospital admissions in children — so this isn’t just a small gesture, it’s something that can genuinely change lives.

Full strip down, deep clean, fresh seals and a complete chimney sweep carried out. This one had definitely been overdue… but now it’s running safely, efficiently and looking like new again 👌

From neglected… to back in action 🔥

This stove hadn’t been looked after for a long time. Worn rope seals, heavy soot build-up, and not running safely.

After a full service and rebuild, it’s now burning clean, efficient, and safe again 👌

If your stove isn’t performing like it should, now’s the time to get it sorted before the colder months hit properly! That said with the weather today we might need them until June 😢

Another stove brought back to life today in Heanor 🔥

This Chilli Penguin came in with:
❌ Heavy ash build-up
❌ Sooted glass
❌ Worn rope seal
❌ General lack of airflow

After a full strip-down service and chimney sweep…

✅ Chimney professionally swept
