A FUNNY STORY 👍
Had a client in repton Derby for a good 6/7 years. Started out on a complete valet, and then monthly cleans after. Time passed and one of her kids passed his test, so that got added to the monthly cleans. She bought a new car and of course had the ceramic protection etc etc.
anyhow last summer she says
“I’ve sold the house I’m moving”
“Oh, I said, where are you moving to ?”
“Stafford she says !”
“Oh right I say”
So I then start thinking, I’ve really enjoyed coming here and you start thinking about when you met, not been able to see her reg plate in the dentist carpark and how you’ve really enjoyed chats about family over the years.
Any how a couple more visits go by and she’s packing up. She’s giving me the last dates that she’s in repton.
I say
“Well it’s been great seeing you, and start wishing her well for the future.
She stops me and says
“Oh no, you don’t get off that easy Tom, it’s taken me years to find you and I want you to come to Stafford still to clean the cars !!!!”
“Erm ok, where is the new house ?”
“Stafford, she says, it’s an hour from here”
“Erm ok, well I can come if I do full valets each time and maybe we go abit longer between cleans to keep costs sensible”
“Done” she says.
So once every 6/7 weeks I’m in Stafford. It really makes the job worthwhile especially in the winter months when you have people who think that much of you and the service you provide.
Oh and as a side note, her new place is very near this retro 1980’s joint ! I couldn’t quite believe my eyes when I saw it 👍
Stopped in today for a strawberry shake - decent and only £4, plus a real actual straw !
