Another milestone on site!

Today we completed the final internal and external cleans on the show homes, and it’s a great moment to look back at how far we’ve come.

Plots 161 & 162 were the very first houses we ever cleaned on this building site… and we’re now up to Plot 372!

With 4 cleans on every plot, we’ve now completed around three quarters of the entire site. Seeing those numbers really puts into perspective just how much we’ve accomplished.

We’re proud to have played our part in getting so many homes cleaned, finished and ready for their new owners.

We hope everyone moving in loves their new home and makes plenty of happy memories there.

Meet the team behind CS Clean Team

Myself Laura and Lesley met while working together on an NHS mental health ward. We shared the same strong work ethic and supported people from many different walks of life, often facing difficult situations and challenges together.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, cleaning became an even bigger part of our lives, and our passion for creating safe, clean spaces began at home. That passion inspired us to establish CS Clean Team.

We started by providing private domestic cleans and gradually built a hardworking and dedicated team. A huge thank you to Sam and Louise for everything you do.

We later secured our first contract with Barratt Homes, carrying out builders’ cleans. Four years later, we are proud to still be working on the same site. We also clean several factories, and we would like to thank Pat, Sam and Louise for their continued hard work.

From the very beginning, one of our biggest goals was to become qualified biohazard technicians—and we have now achieved it! A special thank you to Janet Nash for her support. We are proud to work closely with social services and many other organisations, providing professional, compassionate and discreet biohazard cleaning services.

Although we are expanding our biohazard division, we continue to provide private domestic cleans, builders’ cleans, factory cleans and all our other cleaning services. We are also delighted that we can now provide comprehensive training to our team as we continue to grow.

Finally, we would like to thank everyone who supports CS Clean Team and helps keep our business thriving. To all our customers: we simply wouldn’t be where we are today without you, your loyalty and your wonderful word-of-mouth recommendations.

🏠 New rules are putting damp and mould firmly under the spotlight.

Under Awaab’s Law, social housing landlords in England now have strict responsibilities when serious damp and mould is reported — including investigating significant hazards within 10 working days and taking action to make the property safe within 5 working days following the investigation.

And with stronger standards planned for the private rented sector, now is the time for landlords and letting agents to make sure they have a professional process in place.

Discarded needles and drug-related paraphernalia can be found in places you might not expect — empty properties, communal areas, gardens, alleyways, commercial premises and properties following problematic tenancies or unauthorised occupation.

A discarded needle should never simply be picked up by hand and thrown in the bin.

Used sharps can present a potential exposure risk to blood-borne viruses and need to be located, handled and disposed of correctly.

When we walk into a hoarded property, we don’t just see clutter.

We see the person living behind it.

Hoarding can have a huge impact on somebody’s life. A person may become overwhelmed by their home, struggle with everyday tasks, stop inviting friends or family inside and experience feelings of embarrassment, anxiety or isolation.

In more serious situations, rooms can become unusable, access to kitchens and bathrooms can become restricted and escape routes can become blocked.

But simply arriving with a team and throwing somebody’s possessions away isn’t always the answer.

Our team has previous experience working within mental health, so we’re very familiar with supporting and communicating with people experiencing mental health difficulties.

That experience is incredibly important when carrying out a hoarding clean.
