Benefits from the job we do often relates to the peace & tranquility of being out in the open, especially at night. We also get the opportunity to see nature right before our eyes and the pleasure of reporting it back to landowners. Last night was one of those nights, witnessing a mating pair of tawny owls (only one shown in the video) coming & going, the landowner was absolutely delighted with this footage. What we do isn't just pest control, it's about feedback on what is and isn't happening on your site/s. *when this footage was captured there was no projectile chambered & rifle decocked, there was absolutely no risk to this beautiful creature.

Excellent start to a rabbit control job on a domestic small holding last night. 10 rabbits removed from a paddock that was starting to become overrun, the owner very happy for what was 2 hours work. I am told the neighbours may need assistance too, could be a busy few weeks!

Rabbit control is vital to protecting your beautiful horses (and other large animals) from risk of injury, an ill-placed hoof down a warren entrance or subsistence from diggings could be traumatic and expensive. Keeping rabbit numbers down also leaves you more grass for your animals to feed upon!

Sub zero temperatures? No problem!

The cold weather might deter the fair weather hunters but not here! Vermin still need to eat and drink and those determined enough to brave the weather will prevail and keep knocking the numbers down. It's all about preparation and investing in the top of the range clothing to beat to cold and bringing your "A game" - the latter is non-negotiable!

An amazing first visit to a new permission this week with the owners over the moon with the result. The area has developed a rat problem taking advantage of the poultry's living quarters, food and drink. Rats typically coming in from the countryside at this time of year in search of nesting sites, the cover & warmth of coops and outbuildings, they very quickly multiply!

The rats are coming thick & fast now! What a night removing nearly 60 of these little critters (some were far from little)! Spoke to the land owner (farmer) this morning and he was over the moon. Will need a few more sessions like this to bring them under control but we will severely dent their repopulation.
