Job description

Anglian Drainage are looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer to assist with our growing workload.

Applicants must be competent at clearing blockages and using high pressure water jetting equipment with a minimum of 2 years experience. The successful applicant will hold the following attributes:

• CCTV surveys

• High pressure water jetting

• Electro Mechanical coring

• Carrying out quotes

• Good knowledge in health & safety

• Drain lining and patches

• Small excavations

Essential Requirements for drainage engineer:

• Have a positive can-do attitude

• CSCS Card is advantageous

• Good standard of communication skills, both written and oral

• It is advantageous to hold valid qualifications in High Pressure Water Jetting and Confined Spaces

• High attention to detail and take pride in what they do

• Must have good customer service skills

• Must be a team player

• Be flexible in your working hours and willing to go on call out rota

• Hold a full driving licence

Cctv survey and investigation works at a Sainsbury’s store last night ready for a refurb in the new year.

On site completing jetting and survey works for our client. They have had issues with blocking and overflowing drains. Once the drains are clear we complete the survey and compile a report for the client with our recommendation.

CCTV survey and jetting works completed last night at a Tesco to identify defects within the system

We attended site last week for a blocked drain. Once the drain was cleared we found that the pipework had either come apart or not connected correctly. Not a issue for us though as we contacted the client gave a recommendation for repair which was a 100mm Patch repair. All installed and flowing again.
