🌟 FUNDRAISER EVENT – LET’S MAKE A DIFFERENCE 🌟

We have a fundraising event coming up on 1st July from 6:00pm – 9:30pm at Merlin’s Tandoori.

🎟️ Tickets are £20 per person, which includes your meal. Tickets are selling quickly, so if you’d like to attend, please get in touch as soon as possible to secure your place.

We are also looking for raffle prize donations. If you or your business can donate a prize, no matter how big or small, we would be incredibly grateful.

All funds raised will go towards helping a local lady with essential adaptations to her home following a devastating period in her life. Within a short space of time, she has experienced a a stroke, sight loss as well as undergoing a leg amputation. These adaptations will help improve her independence, safety, and quality of life.

Every ticket purchased, raffle prize donated, and pound raised will help make a real difference.

Due to continued growth, HCC Solutions Co Ltd is looking for reliable, caring, and motivated individuals to join our team.

We currently have vacancies for:

✅ Weekend Home Help Staff
✅ Domestic Cleaners

Hours available:
🕗 Saturday & Sunday
🕗 Various shifts available, including mornings from 8:00am onwards

As a Home Help Assistant, you will support clients with:
• Household tasks
• Shopping and errands
• Companionship and wellbeing support
• Meal preparation
• General household assistance

Please note: No personal care is involved in this role.

So, this weekend was supposed to be my first proper weekend off in what feels like forever… but unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out that way.

Instead, I’ve ended up covering shifts, dealing with problems, answering calls, and spending time sorting the wages. Tomorrow I’ve still got at least another couple of hours of work to do.

One of the realities of running a business is that when things go wrong, the responsibility ultimately falls on you. Clients still need support, staff still need help, and the work still needs doing.

What people don’t always see is that business owners need time off too. We have families, homes, and lives outside of work, but sometimes those things have to take a back seat to keep everything running smoothly.

Don’t get me wrong – I’m incredibly grateful for the business we’ve built and the people we support. But this is definitely one of the less glamorous sides of being a business owner.

Here’s hoping next weekend is a little quieter! 😊

🌟 CASE STUDY – TRANSFORMING A HOME, CHANGING A LIFE 🌟

This week, our team completed a Level 9 hoarding clearance for a lady who had been unable to return home from hospital until her property was made safe and accessible.

Over two days, 6 team members worked alongside a waste management company to clear years of accumulated belongings, then deep clean and organise the property. What was once a home with only a small space to sit in now clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for her return.

But the transformation goes beyond the property.

Hoarding is often linked to challenges such as loneliness, isolation, and poor mental wellbeing. Through our Befriending and Ongoing Support Service, we’ll continue supporting her to maintain a safe living environment, reduce isolation, and improve her quality of life.

Working in the community, we see how many people struggle behind closed doors, often feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to seek help. Our approach is always compassionate, respectful, and non-judgemental.

The most rewarding part of our work is helping people regain their independence, dignity, and confidence.

CASE STUDY ❤️

Yesterday was one of our client’s birthdays.

Having struggled with alcoholism for over 30 years, we first met him after being referred for a one-off clear and clean of his flat. What started as a single visit soon became so much more.

Together, we helped make his flat feel homely again and, in order to help him maintain his tenancy, he agreed to weekly support calls where we assist with keeping on top of the flat, attending appointments, and providing companionship.

Yesterday was a reminder of just how important the little things can be. The only birthday card he received was ours. We took him out for a Starbucks and popped to visit his brother too.

This is what makes our services unique both on the cleaning side and the home help side. We genuinely care. Behind many “normal” front doors are people struggling silently, and sometimes a small amount of support, kindness, and consistency can make a huge difference.

This is exactly why we do what we do. ❤️
