"I called Green rock pest control when I found two birds stuck up my chimney behind my gas fire. Unfortunately Kieran wasn’t corgi registered but gave great advice. After I got the two jackdaw fledglings out, Kieran came round and surprisingly knew loads about the breed of bird we had rescued. He told us how to keep them safe from predators whilst ensuring they were reunited with their parents. What to feed them and how to handle/approach them. I was in panic mode about what to do but Kieran was so calm and a true hero telling me to ring him anytime for advice. Green rock aren’t all about killing vermin they are about saving and protecting precious species and preventing any harm. I cannot rate this man highly enough and so grateful we called upon you"

Last night I had a phone call to help with some birds that had fallen down the chimney. 🐦‍⬛
Unfortunately the gas fire needed to be disconnected so I couldn’t help. 🦅
Well today the gas was disconnected and out popped 2 baby Jackdaws. 🐦‍⬛
I was looking forward to taking them home to give them a temporary home before arranging to hand them over to a licenced rehabilitater but their mum turned up which then by taking them away would be an offence against the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 🦅
So hopefully their mum will protect them long enough for them to learn to fly.

Today at work I found these….

One of the most important parts of our job isn’t just treating pests, it’s correct identification first, every single time. 🐜

Formica rufa our native Red Wood Ants are incredibly beneficial, they don’t come inside your house, they don’t damage structures, and they’re a really important part of the Devon countryside and garden ecosystems. 🐜

We would never spray or destroy these colonies, as they are ferocious eaters, preying on aphids, caterpillars, fly larvae and all sorts of common pests. 🐜

Rescued some woodland Bumbles this bank holiday weekend that were finding their way into the bedrooms of the house.
They still have their same home just now a different address.

Another successful drain proofing job completed with Mango Plumbing & Drainage Services .
After a cctv drain rat entry survey we discovered that a pipe had been broken and the water had washed out a mini cavern that was quickly colonised by rats who then started entering the house. fans
